Potential Environmental Solutions

Recently, the regulation of fossil fuels has become an increasingly hot buisness topic. GPS Tracking will rely on other emerging technologies, like smart-grids and similar networked systems, to enable such valuable tasks as tracking vehicles, other equipment assets, or personnel, and record their location at given intervals, also acquiring other important data through a variety of sensors connected at the source. It can help equipment fleet managers, contractors, equipment rental, and construction companies large and small, to relate instantly how much time vehicles and equipment spend idling so that managers can monitor these parameters and control them by setting standards to reduce mishandled time. This has the dual effect of both saving fuel costs and, with looming "Cap and Trade" legislation inclement on U.S. companies, it will allow managers of all kinds to potentially control CO2 emissions.
